Since the inception of Simsbury, Conn., more than three centuries ago the southeastern section of town has served as the town’s front door while constantly changing in use from agricultural, to industrial, to commercial and office-retail. Konover Development Corporation’s proposal for Simsbury River Oaks will provide a mix of upscale uses on this currently industrially zoned site that is surrounded by other mixed uses.
A team of nationally recognized planners, engineers, traffic engineers, architects and landscape architects have worked hard to design Simsbury River Oaks as a beautiful mixed-use development that will enhance Simsbury’s quality of life and tax revenues. Konover Development Corporation believes this challenge has been achieved.
The Central Themes Remain the Same:
- To bring the best possible project to the unique 60-acre site on Route 10 in Simsbury, adjacent to the Avon town line, focusing on the aesthetic qualities and functional utility;
- To emphasize walk-ability and pedestrian-oriented features; and
- To create a neighborhood that provides a high quality of life to its residents as well as those of the entire town.
