Michelle M. Carlson has 19 years of experience. She has a diverse background in various facets of civil engineering and land-use planning, site engineering, utility engineering, hydrologic engineering, engineering economics, roadway and pavement design, site development feasibility studies, campus master planning and construction management.

Ms. Carlson, who received her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Tufts University in 1986, has completed designs of mixed-use developments, commercial, residential, athletic and institutional facilities as well as municipal wastewater and water systems. She is an expert at developing strategic approaches for the permitting and design of large and complex projects.

Among the projects she has worked on are the Shops at Evergreen Walk, a 235-unit age-restricted development, a 1 million square-foot Walgreens Northeast Distribution Center, and a wastewater disposal project for an 11-town region in eastern Connecticut.
