Michael S. Klein has 30 years experience as a wildlife biologist and soil scientist. He founded Environmental Planning Services in 1983 after serving as an ecologist and as a senior environmental analyst, beginning in 1977.

Mr. Klein prepares site evaluations and impact assessments. This includes acting as a liaison between regulatory agencies and clients, conducting field surveys, flagging wetland limits, designing mitigation projects, and reviewing plans and recommendations for impact minimization.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Connecticut in 1973, and a Master of Science degree in environmental sciences in 1976 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a registered soil scientist and a certified professional wetland scientist.

Mr. Klein is a member of the Society of Soil Scientists of Southern New England, the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists, the Society of Wetland Scientists, and is a charter member of the Connecticut Association of Wetland Scientists.
